Machine Area Rugs
Machine-made area rugs built for everyday rooms β precise patterns, consistent color, and sizes from accent to oversized. Unlike our one-of-a-kind pieces, every rug here can be reordered exactly as you see it.
Every rug in this collection is machine-made. That process gives you two things a single-piece rug can't: repeatability and price. The pattern you see is the pattern you get, in the size you order, and it will look the same if you order a second one for another room a year from now.
It also means tighter tolerances. Edges stay square, pile height stays even, and colors match batch to batch β which matters when you're running a rug down a hallway or pairing two in an open-plan space.
These rugs are made to live under furniture, chairs that get pushed back, and traffic that doesn't stop. Dense low-pile options handle dining rooms and entryways; softer high-pile options suit bedrooms and living rooms where comfort underfoot matters more than wipe-down convenience.
In a living room, aim for a rug wide enough to sit under at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs β 8' x 10' works for most standard layouts, 9' x 12' for larger ones. Under a dining table, add roughly 24 inches on every side so chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. In a bedroom, a rug that extends 18β24 inches past the sides of the bed gives you something soft to step onto.
Vacuum regularly on a setting appropriate to the pile height, blot spills rather than rubbing them, and rotate the rug every six months so wear and sun exposure spread evenly. A rug pad underneath reduces slipping, cushions the pile, and meaningfully extends the life of the rug.
The rug is produced by machine to a programmed design rather than assembled piece by piece. That keeps the pattern precise and lets us produce the same rug again in the same colors and sizes.
One of a Kind rugs are individual vintage pieces β there is exactly one of each, and once it sells it's gone. Machine area rugs are part of an ongoing collection, so you can reorder, buy a matching runner, or replace one later.
Yes. Machine-made rugs are among the most practical options for busy households β they release dirt easily, resist crushing under furniture, and handle spot cleaning well. Check the individual product page for the specific material and care instructions.
We recommend one for almost every placement. A pad keeps the rug from sliding on hard floors, prevents the edges from curling, adds cushioning, and protects the floor underneath. Choose a pad slightly smaller than the rug so it stays hidden at the edges.
Very close. Because these are machine-made, color and pattern stay consistent from piece to piece. Minor variation can come from your screen settings and your room's lighting rather than the rug itself.
