Small Vintage Turkish Rugs, Only One of Each
Small vintage rugs bring the color, texture and history of a handmade Turkish rug into the spaces where a large rug will not fit. Every piece in this collection is a single, individually sourced vintage rug. There is no second copy and no reorder: when a rug sells, that exact piece is gone.
What Counts as a Small Rug Here
This collection includes vintage rugs narrower than about 4 ft 7 in and shorter than 8 ft, which covers classic accent sizes such as 2x3, 3x5 and 4x6. Because these rugs were woven by hand on village looms, their measurements are irregular. Each listing shows the exact width and length in feet and centimeters. Not sure what you need? See our rug size guide.
Where Small Vintage Rugs Work Best
- Entryways: a vintage accent rug makes a strong first impression and handles daily foot traffic.
- Kitchens: in front of the sink or stove, a low-pile wool rug adds warmth underfoot.
- Bathrooms: outside the shower zone, a small vintage rug replaces a plain bath mat with real character.
- Bedside: a soft landing spot on either side of the bed.
- Layering: place a small vintage rug over a larger neutral rug or jute rug for a collected look.
Styles You Will Find
Small sizes appear across every style we carry, from soft vintage Oushak rugs and flat-woven vintage kilims to muted distressed and faded rugs.
Caring for a Small Vintage Rug
- Use a rug pad so the rug stays flat and does not slide.
- Vacuum with the beater bar switched off.
- Blot spills right away instead of rubbing.
- In bathrooms and kitchens, let the rug dry fully if it gets wet.
