Why don't the sizes match standard rug sizes?

Each rug was woven by hand on a village loom, not cut to a catalog size. A rug may measure 3 ft 2 in x 5 ft 1 in instead of an exact 3x5, which is why we list true measurements on every product page.
Can I use a small vintage rug in a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. Low-pile vintage wool rugs work well in kitchens and bathrooms. Place them outside constantly wet areas, use a rug pad, and let the rug dry fully if it gets wet.
Are these small rugs handmade?

Yes. Every rug in this collection is a vintage handmade Turkish rug, either hand-knotted or flat-woven. There is only one of each piece.
Do I need a rug pad for a small rug?
