Handwoven Wool Kilim Rugs
Our wool kilim rugs are handwoven from 95% wool and 5% cotton using traditional flatweave techniques. Clean stripes, framed borders and modern grids in natural, earthy colors make them easy to style in modern, Scandinavian, farmhouse and boho interiors.
What Is a Wool Kilim Rug?
A kilim is a flat-woven rug with no pile. The design is woven directly into the structure of the rug, so it is thin, light and durable. Wool kilims have been woven in Anatolia for centuries and are valued for their natural texture and long life.
Flatweave vs Looped Wool Kilims
Reversible Flatweave Kilims
- Thin, smooth surface that sits flat under doors and furniture
- Reversible design, so you can rotate and flip for even wear
- Designs: Ljosa, Lumi, Perla, Cecilia, Dagros, Gyda
Chunky Looped Kilims
- Raised looped texture that adds depth and warmth
- Modern bordered grid and minimalist striped patterns
- Designs: Aurora, Berga, Nott
Colors and Patterns
Neutral and Monochrome
Pearl white, ivory, slate grey and charcoal black in bold striped geometric lines. See Perla and Dagros.
Warm Earth Tones
Terracotta, rust, walnut brown and indigo blue on light beige. See Ljosa, Gyda, Lumi and Nott.

Sizes: Area Rugs and Runners

- Dining room: chairs slide easily on a flatweave
- Bedroom: natural wool texture underfoot
- Hallway and entry: long runners up to 2x14
How to Care for a Wool Kilim Rug
- Vacuum regularly without a beater bar or on a low setting
- Blot spills right away with a clean, damp cloth; do not rub
- Rotate the rug every few months for even wear; flip reversible designs
- Use a rug pad to keep it in place
- Use a professional rug cleaner for deep cleaning; do not machine wash
